Among  the most sleep-deprived occupations in US, home health aides rank first.

According to a recent research "The National Heath Interview Survey" conducted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, home health aides, police officers, physicians are the shortest sleepers in US. Base on analyzing individual sleep habits and job requirements, the survey shows  that none of them sleep 8 - hours which we were all taught to be the least for our healthy life.

Not only is home health aid the most sleep - deprived employers, but also among the lowest paid ones  in America. Their hands are really full because of overload tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming or cooking to elderly  or disabled patients. Economists in the US seem to have flexible schedules, taking away much of their time to sleep

 

Apart from that, social workers, computer programmes and financial analysts are also among the most sleep-deprived careers respectively.
